We do continue to offer USPS shipping to these areas and strongly recommend using Priority Mail for faster, more reliable delivery. We now offer simplified flat-rate shipping, starting at just $7.99. These new rates are designed to give you faster delivery, predictable pricing, and better service.

Live Arrival Guarantee – Terms & Conditions

We pride ourselves on our Live Arrival Guarantee, but there are a few important conditions to understand before placing your order:

Qualifying Shipments

• Hold for Pickup shipments sent via USPS Priority Mail or UPS 2-Day Air qualify for the Live Arrival Guarantee. USPS Ground Advantage is not covered, even if held for pickup.

• Home delivery orders are only guaranteed if daytime highs are between 55°F and 85°F and someone is present to receive the package.

How to File a Claim

• Claims for DOA (Dead on Arrival) must be submitted within 2 hours of delivery.

• You must include a photo or video of the unopened shipping bag and your order number.

• If a photo is not possible, include an explanation in your message.

• Claims submitted without this documentation or after 2 hours will not be eligible.

What’s Covered

• One replacement shipment per order

• Replacements are shipped on the next scheduled shipping day

• Replacement orders may be sent Hold for Pickup regardless of your original selection

What’s Not Covered

• Orders shipped via USPS Ground Advantage

• Orders delivered when no one is home

• Shipments made outside safe temperature conditions (unless held for pickup)

Superworm Care Upon Arrival

• Do not refrigerate Superworms.

• Ideal storage temperature is 70°F to 82°F.

• Keep in a container with 2" of dry substrate (wheat bran, cornmeal, oats, etc.)

• Add moisture with carrots or potatoes (replace as needed)

• Superworms will not pupate as long as they are housed together

Shipping & Weather

• All Superworms ship in breathable mesh bags with ink-free newspaper

• Boxes are ventilated and labeled "LIVE ANIMALS"

• Packaging may vary slightly depending on the season and weather conditions

Please check your local weather for 1–4 days from your purchase — this is your expected delivery window.

If you are selecting USPS Ground Advantage, we recommend checking temperatures up to 7 days out, as this service may take longer in some regions.
 

If your local daytime highs are outside 55°F to 85°F, please select Hold for Pickup to ensure your worms arrive safely.

We understand there may be exceptions (e.g., early route delivery, climate-controlled mailboxes). You're welcome to request home delivery under those conditions, but our Live Arrival Guarantee will not apply.
